<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition excellent in destruction characteristics, abrasion resistance and crack growing resistance by treating a waste rubber by reduced energy. <P>SOLUTION: The surface of the powder rubber obtained by grinding the waste rubber comprising various rubbers is subjected to emboss treatment. As this emboss treatment, a method for culturing microorganisms on a culture medium to which microorganisms growing using a rubber as an only carbon source and the powder rubber with a mean particle size of 1 mm or less can be adapted. By this method, the powder rubber is decomposed to become large in its surface area. As the microorganisms, a WU-YS05 strain (comission number: FERM P-18660) belonging to the genus Pseudonocardiaceae is effective. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
