<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for ink-jet recording that can retain excellent ink jetting stability, even after the ink is left without jetting for a while, and has high fastness to light and resistance to oxidation. <P>SOLUTION: The ink for ink-jet recording contains an azo dye having a specific structure that a six-membered heterocyclic ring is bonded to the diazo group, additionally a high-molecular compound with a number-average molecular weight of ≥5,000 in an amount of 5.0 mass % based on the whole amount of the ink. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
