TOOL FOR CUTTING AND REMOVING COATING AT END OF COATED TUBE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut and remove coating at the end of a coated tube without damaging a tube main body and also to cut a prescribed length without measuring a coating cutting position. SOLUTION: A coating cutting and removing tool is used which comprises: a protection tube 18 whose distal end is inserted to a part between the tube main body and the coating of the coated tube; a rotary member 20 attached to the rear end of the protection tube so as to be rotatable with the protection tube as an axis in a state where the movement is restricted in an axial direction; a bar shape member 26 supported by the rotary member 20 so as to allow its distal end to approach or separate from the distal end of the protection tube 18; and a cutting blade 30 attached to the distal end of the bar shape member so as to direct its point to the front surface of the protection tube 18 and also direct its blade in the peripheral direction of the protection tube 18. A stopper 34 where the end surface of the tube main body is abutted on is arranged inside the protection tube 18, and an interval L between the stopper 34 and the cutting blade 30 is set to the length for removing the coating.
