PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a checking method for a board case for game machine in which an illegal action such as reading illegal intrinsic identification information by exchanging an electronic component in a check process can be prevented by surely reading intrinsic identification information attached on the electronic component of a control board in the substrate case and confirming the sealed state of the board case. SOLUTION: When checking a board case 39 for housing a control board 38 packaged with a prescribed electronic component 47, the check is performed through a seal confirming process 15 for confirming whether or not the board case 39 is sealed by sealing means 49 and 50 and an intrinsic information reading process 18 for reading intrinsic identification information 48 on the electronic component 47 in the board case 39 after the seal confirming process 15.
