摘要 PURPOSE: A pressure control method of an anti-lock brake system is provided to improve braking force and stability by reaching the locking pressure of wheels early with adjusting the pressure increase rate and pressure increase time according to difference between the locking pressure and present pressure. CONSTITUTION: An ECU(Electronic Control Unit) detects wheel speed from a wheel speed sensor, and estimates the vehicle speed based on the wheel speed(S100,S110). The deceleration of the vehicle is calculated according to the change of vehicle speed, and locking pressure of the wheel is estimated in controlling an ABS(Anti-lock Brake System)(S120,S130). Present pressure of the wheel is output in increasing the pressure by checking the opening degrees of the normal open and close valves and the opening time(S140), and the difference between locking pressure and present pressure is calculated(S150). The pressure increase rate and the increase time are set for the present pressure to reach the level of the locking pressure quickly with the pressure difference(S160). The present pressure is increased by controlling the normal close and open valves with the ECU corresponding to the predetermined pressure increase rate and the increase time(S170).
