<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for ink jet recording excellent in light resistance and capable of suppressing occurrence of bleeding and forming ink jet image having high quality and an ink set for ink jet recording and to provide an ink jet recording method using the ink for ink jet recording or the ink set for ink jet recording. <P>SOLUTION: The ink for ink jet recording comprises a water-soluble dye, water and a water-soluble organic solvent. The water-soluble dye comprises at least one kind of compound among compounds represented by general formulas (1) to (5) or a water-soluble copper phthalocyanine compound, and the content of the water-soluble organic solvent is 11-50 wt.% and a ratio of tetraethylene glycol in the water-soluble organic solvent is 25-100 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
