PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dredge sediment of earth and sand or the like effectively, constantly, and by using only natural energy. SOLUTION: There is provided an automatic dredging system which is implemented by using only natural energy. According to the system, seawater led by using tidal difference, or water led from an upstream side of an artificial lake or the like is stored in a dammed reservoir or a water tower, and the water is discharged when water level difference becomes significant, by automatically opening/closing valves arranged at an intake port and an exhaust port of the reservoir or the water tower by means of weights. Thus, the sediment of earth and sand is sucked and dredged depending on the flow velocity of the water by using an ejector which is an application of so-called venturi effect, and introduced and discharged to a location at which the earth and sand can be disposed of.
