<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the execution of time shortening function specified on a machine side through the operation of hitting pinballs against a rotational body such as a windmill by an operator, and hence carry out the time shortening function to which needs of each player are added. <P>SOLUTION: A rotational state of the windmill 118 on a game board 111 is detected, and the player rotates the windmill 118 intentionally. Then, judgement on whether time shortening mode is executed or not is made based on average value of time required for one rotation of the windmill 118. Thus, the time shortening mode can be obtained through a technical intervention of the player in an ordinary state as well as in special conditions in a conventional game machine. Therefore, the player can increase the chance of shooting pinballs for shortening the average time of the rotation of the windmill even when the time for stopping shooting the pinballs comes, thus increasing rate of operation which is advantageous to both the player and a shop. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
