<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a brake pedal from interfering with a driver by preventing the lower side of the brake pedal from rotating backward in front collision of an automobile. <P>SOLUTION: The automobile 1 is provided with: the brake pedal 14 pivoted by a pivotal shaft 13 at the front part of an automobile body 2 so as to vertically extend to make its lower end longitudinally rotatable in the automobile interior 10 close to the rear side of the front part of the body 2; and a brake booster 21 supported to the front part of the body 2, and interlockingly connected with a longitudinal intermediate part of the brake pedal 14. Brake operation force A applied to the lower end part of the brake pedal 14 is boosted by the brake booster 21 and outputted.
