CURVED REINFORCED GLASS BONDED WITH TRANSPARENT RESIN SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curved reinforced glass bonded with a transparent resin sheet in which impact strength of a reinforced glass sheet can be improved and when the reinforced glass sheet is broken, the transparent resin sheet can be returned to a flat sheet. SOLUTION: A window glass 11 is formed of a laminated body 10 prepared by bonding a reinforced glass sheet 12 curved in advance and a flat sheet-like transparent resin sheet 13 with a transparent self-adhesive resin sheet 14. As the transparent resin sheet 13 is bonded under a condition where it is elastically deformed in a circular arc-like shape along a concave face of the reinforced glass sheet 12, a force of the transparent resin sheet 13 which makes it return from an elastically deformed condition to a flat sheet is imparted to the reinforced glass sheet 12. Therefore, a compressive stress caused by the force of the transparent resin sheet 13 acts on a convex face of the reinforced glass sheet to improve a strength to impact. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
