<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet which allows its collar member to be retrofitted to a hose connecting fixture, and contributes to easy finishing of a worktop or the like only by forming a small-diameter hole in the same, and to improved assembling work of a hose. <P>SOLUTION: The faucet is constructed such that a flush valve 111 of a straight stop valve unit 110 is opened/closed by operating a switch arranged on a shower head 106 which is connected to the straight stop valve unit 110 via the hose 115, to thereby switch the shower head 106 to a spouting mode or a cutoff mode. According to the faucet, the hose 115 is separable from the straight stop valve unit 110, and in order to connect the former to the latter, the hose connecting fixture 128 attached to the tip of the hose 115 has the collar member 116 attached to the periphery thereof in a detachable manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
