PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a good operation of refilling a stick molded item by preventing it from being dislocated. SOLUTION: In the refilling method in which a slider 6 movable back and forth within a cylinder 2 by rotating a screw bar 4 with a tail plug 3 is made to hold the retractable stick molded item 7, after the slider 6 is removed from the screw bar 4, a rear edge 14 of an opening of a cartrige case 10 housing the refilling stick molded item 8 held by another slider 11 is fitted to a front edge 2a of the opening of the cylinder 2, both the screw grooves 13 and 12 of the slider 11 holding the refilling stick molded item 8 and the refilling stick molded item 8 are screwed to the screw bar 4 and the refilling stick molded item 8 held by the slider 11 is housed in the cylinder 2 by rotating the tail plug 3.
