PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost of a driving part of a feed screw mechanism of a tie bar for connecting a fixed die plate to a link housing, in a mold clamping unit of an injection molding machine. SOLUTION: The fixed die plate 1 and the link housing 5 are connected to each other through the tie bar 6, and the feeding screw mechanisms 8 and 9 are installed at a connecting part between the tie bar 6 and the link housing 5. In addition, a geared motor 11 is mounted under the link housing 5 and a first spur gear 15 is fitted to the back of the link housing 5. Further, a driving shaft of the geared motor 11 and a shaft of the first spur gear 15 are connected to each other through sprockets 12 and 14 and a chain 13. A link gear 17 is attached to the back center of the link housing 5 and the first spur gear 15 is engaged with the ring gear 17. On the back of each of nuts 9 of the feeding screw mechanisms 8 and 9, a second spur gear 19 is fixed and each of the second spur gears 19 is connected to the ring gear 17 through each of idler gears 18.
