<p>Methods and apparatus for providing prepaid (100), remote entry customer accounts suitably comprise a system (208) for generating accounts with dedicated authorization codes from a remote terminal (206). The account, suitably associated with a computer, is created when funds are supplied from a remote terminal (208). The computer then provides an account number and an authorization code to the account holder.
