PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for vehicle and a navigation device for vehicle and a display method and a display program for vehicle capable of providing useful displays, even when the device is operated by an occupant seated on a rear seat during traveling, to the occupant who operated the device and the other occupants. SOLUTION: In this display device for vehicle, operations from the occupants seated on a front seat and operations from the occupants seated on the rear seat are inputted and operation displays according to the operations from the occupants seated on the front seat and operations from the occupants seated on the rear seat and those any displays other than the operation displays are displayed. An operation is determined whether the operation is from the occupants seated on the front seat or from the occupants seated on the rear seat. When the operation is determined to be from the occupants seated on the rear seat, a vehicle is determined whether the vehicle is traveling or not.
