<p>A process and apparatus for manufacturing a strand including glass filaments. The process and apparatus include a drawing roll, around which the filaments coming from a bushing are wound in web form, a prespinning unit storing the filaments intended for scrapping, a spinning unit allowing the filaments to be removed from the roll and taken up, and a mechanism for guiding the filaments in the spinning unit and as far as a winder in the form of a strand. The prespinning unit is placed downstream of the spinning unit.</p> |
