PURPOSE: A laser beam pointer having a mouse function is provided to enable a user to directly control the operation of a computer from a long distance. CONSTITUTION: A direction key(25) controls a position of a cursor displayed on a screen of the computer. A selection key(26) selects the function of the position locating the cursor. A menu display key(27) displays a menu on the screen locating the cursor. The first controller(24) generates and outputs a control code when each key is inputted. A wireless transmitter(29) transmits the control code output from the first controller(24) with a password code. A receiver is installed to an input terminal of the computer and enables the user to control the computer through the laser beam pointer by offering the control code transmitted from the wireless transmitter(29) to the computer. |
