TUMBLE TYPE AIR INDUCTION SYSTEM OF ENGINE

PURPOSE: A tumble type air induction system is provided to achieve improved engine performance and reduce manufacturing costs, while minimizing a flow resistance of intake air. CONSTITUTION: A tumble type air induction system(1) comprises a tumble control valve(109) mounted on a tumble control shaft(107), which controls an intake air passage. The tumble control shaft is arranged to have a predetermined angle with respect to the mounting surface which is formed into a plane so as to permit the tumble control valve to be mounted on the mounting surface, to thereby form a parallel surface having a horizontality with respect to the tumble control valve. The tumble control valve has a bent surface which is bent at a predetermined angle with respect to the overall surface of the valve such that the end of the tumble control valve is bolt-coupled with the mounting surface of the tumble control shaft.
