<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover having an excellent function, its fixing structure, and a printer being used in conjunction with a taximeter. <P>SOLUTION: The printer comprises a case 10 for containing a roll sheet, or the like, a cover 20 being fixed to the case 10 wherein the cover 20 is provided with a shaft part 21, and the case 10 is provided with bearing parts 11 in correspondence with the shaft 21. When the shaft 21 is fitted in the bearing parts 11, the cover 20 is fixed to the case 10 to be opened/closed freely and the cover 20 is provided with a stop part 22 which can sustain the cover 20 in open state with respect to the case 10. The case 10 is provided with an engaging part 12 in correspondence with the stop part 22. A pair of arm 23 projecting from the cover 20 is provided with the stop 22 as a protrusion 2, and a pair of sidewalls 16a constituting the case 10 is provided with an engaging part 12 as a recessed part 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
