PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint metal fitting connecting mutual laying sheets such as a civil engineering stable sheet or the like capable of increasing the connecting efficiency of laying members and improving the joint strength. SOLUTION: A laying member B such as a civil engineering stable sheet is laid on the surface of a soft ground or slope face or the like when stabilizing earth such as a soft ground, a slope face, etc. The joint metal fitting A has at least two leg pieces 1 parallelly arranged with a specified distance. The rear ends of the leg piece 1 are coupled by a connection part 2, and the front end part of the leg piece 1 is turned back to the connection part 2 side to form a locking part 3.
