PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container and a pipe minimizing the need for pipe replacement, and also a method of manufacturing the container, pipe and molded article minimizing a temperature drop of molten metal at the time of receiving the molten metal or supplying oil, and a method of manufacturing an automobile as well. SOLUTION: The container comprises a container body for storing molten metal and a curvature-shaped pipe 56, which is connected to the container body and allows, the molten metal to flow. As the pipe 56 is formed in the shape of curvature, a region 72 within the pipe 56 constitutes a continuous region having a nearly constant volume per unit length of the pipe enabling the molten metal to flow through the continuous region. Accordingly, the friction and impact between the molten metal and the interior of the pipe are reduced, thus resulting in the enhancement of the durability of the pipe 56. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
