PURPOSE: A method of deciding abnormality of wheel speed is provided to detect abnormality of wheel speed sensors on the basis of the speed difference between the wheel speed of the former cycle and the wheel speed of the current cycle. CONSTITUTION: A method of deciding abnormality of wheel speed includes steps of detecting the wheel speed every the control cycle from wheel speed sensors(S100); calculating the speed difference between the wheel speed detected in the former control cycle, on the basis of the current control cycle and the wheel speed detected in the current control cycle(S110); comparing the calculated speed difference value with a first predetermined reference value(S120); and increasing the count one time if the speed difference value is over the first reference value(S130) and deciding whether the increased count is over a predetermined number of times(S140). If the increased count is over the predetermined number of times, the wheel sensors are diagnosed as failure and a warning lamp is turned on to let a driver know an ABS(Anti-lock Brake System) can't be operated normally(S150).
