PURPOSE: A drum brake of a vehicle is provided to prevent wear or breakage of a sealing member against heat by restricting friction heat from being transmitted to the sealing member in braking with forming a heatproof ring. CONSTITUTION: A drum brake comprises a drum, a couple of brake shoes(30a,30b) installed inside the drum and contacted to the drum to generate braking force, a piston(42) installed between brake shoes to operate the brake shoes outward, and a wheel cylinder having a cylinder part(41) mounting the piston. The wheel cylinder includes a sealing member(44) preventing leak of brake oil between the outer periphery of the piston and the inner periphery of the cylinder part, and a heatproof ring(45) restricting heat from friction of the brake shoes and the drum from being transmitted to the sealing member in braking.
