PURPOSE: An absolute angle sensor of a steering system for a vehicle is provided to sense the absolute rotation angle of a steering wheel by changing absolute variable displacement of the steering wheel into linear variable displacement. CONSTITUTION: An absolute angle sensor of a steering system for a vehicle comprises a power supply part(10) to supply operation power; a pulse generation part(11) to generate operation pulse; an LVDT(Linear Variable Displacement Transducer,12) operating by the pulse output from the pulse generation part and outputting output proportional to linear variable displacement after sensing linear variable displacement of a rotary disk mounted to the lower part of the steering wheel when the steering wheel rotates; a demodulator part(13) multiplying an AC(Alternating Current) by external displacement elements; a DC(Direct Current) amplifier(14) amplifying external displacement output from the demodulator part to a predetermined level; and a DC output part(15) outputting a signal amplified through the DC amplifier.
