摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent shock-breakage of the upper and lower structures, and falling accidents of the upper structure caused by an earthquake or the like, by arranging specified shock-absorbing members between the upper structures, and the upper structure and the lower structure, and in connection tools between the upper structure and the lower structure and providing wall structures in the direction of shock-loads. SOLUTION: A shock-absorbing member 1 is formed of a material having 200 kgf/cm<3> or larger bending elastic modulus and 50 tf.m/m<3> or more compressive energy absorptive rate at the compression in the shock-load direction. In this case, a resin having 500-20,000 kgf/cm<2> bending elastic modulus or a matel having 5,000 kgf/cm<2> or larger bending elastic modulus is used as a base material for the molding. Chambers with hexagonal or fewer polygonal section are continuously and repeatedly used. The plateau strength is set at 400 tf/m<2> or higher and the compression energy absorption rate is set at 200 tf.m/m<3> or larger. A resin having 200-5,000 kgf/cm<2> bending elastic modulus or a metal having 5,000 kgf/cm<2> or larger bending elastic modulus is used as a base material for the absorbing material 1. In this way, shock-breakage or falling of the upper and lower structures or the adjacent structures can be securely prevented and a bridge withstanding an earthquake or the like can be constructed.
