PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized piezoelectric oscillator where the production of parasitic capacitance in wiring patterns for connecting a piezoelectric transducer to an oscillation circuit and a ground pattern is suppressed, a ground potential is stabilized, superior noise resistance is attained, and accurate and stable oscillations are carried out. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric oscillator comprises a casing body 1, in which an upper cavity portion 5 and a lower cavity portion 10 are separated from each other by a diaphragm 8, a piezoelectric transducer 2 housed in the upper cavity portion 5, an IC chip 3 and electronic components 41 to 44 constituting an oscillation circuit housed in the lower cavity portion 10, and external terminal electrodes 11 to 14 formed on the periphery of the underside of the casing body 1 and connected with the oscillation circuit. Between the layers of a laminate which constitutes the diaphragm 8 in the casing body 1, a ground pattern 111 for grounding the oscillation circuit and wiring patterns 113 and 31 for piezoelectric transducer for connecting the piezoelectric transducer 2 to the oscillation circuit are placed to prevent the occurrence of parasitic capacitance. |
