PURPOSE:To provide a water-dispersed pigment ink containing a specific water- soluble organic solvent and a dispersing agent, having excellent printed image fastness, enabling stable ejection over a long period and giving printed image having excellent quality and density even on a plain paper. CONSTITUTION:The objective ink contains (A) a pigment, (B) a dispersing agent consisting of a polymer having a hydrophilic part and a hydrophobic part and containing 3-25mol% of at least one kind of monomer having long chain nonionic group and expressed by formula I; CH2=C(R)-COO-(CH2CH2O)m-H, formula II;CH2=C(R)-COO-(CH2CH2O)n-(CH2)lH, formula III; CH2=C(R)- COO-(CH2CH2O)p-phenyl-(CH2)qH (R is H or CH3; (m) and (n) are 2-24; (l) and (p) are 1-12; (q) is 0-16) and 5-60mol% of an alpha, beta-ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid as the monomers constituting the hydrophilic part, (C) at least one kind of water-soluble organic solvent selected from monoalkyl ether of diol, monoalkyl ether of triol and dialkyl ether of triol and (D) water. |
