[Class 75 (i).] In an oil stove of the type in which a fuel reservoir a is placed in a cage which is swung about a hinge so as to bring the fuel reservoir in the inverted position over a cup, thereby opening a valve g at the top of the reservoir, the cage m consists of a sheet metal drum cut away so as to leave spaced bars n connecting the closed end o with a ring p having an extension q formed with a rolled edge hinged to an extension s on the cup h. A clip 2 enabling the reservoir to be carried easily consists of a wire rod encircling the reservoir neck and bent at its ends into loops 3 secured by a screw bolt 4. The bail z is attached to eyes 5 twisted in the clip and, when the reservoir is in the cage, can be snapped over a spring hook x secured in a channel w on one of the bars n. The extension q is stiffened by pressed-in portions t and the extension by flanged edges u. When the cage is in the position shown a bracket v rests against a part of the stove. |
