<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium capable of attaining high recording density by inhibiting cross write and cross erase in reducing a track pitch in heat mode recording and a recording method and a manufacturing method suitable for the medium. <P>SOLUTION: In the information recording medium for recording information by a laser beam, at least a dielectric substance layer and a recording layer are provided in that order on a supporting substrate. A line-like conductor in parallel with the track direction of the laser beam is provided on the supporting substrate or a layer between the supporting substrate and the dielectric substance layer (1).
