摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle capable of obtaining negative pressure in the intake air piping without deteriorating fuel consumption for a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: When decrease of assisting force of a brake booster (booster) 65 is detected by a negative pressure shortage judgment means (detection means for decrease of assisting force) 106 during stopping of engine 10, the engine is rotated using the energy stored in vehicle without resuming fuel supply in the engine 10 by a negative pressure control means 110. Since the negative pressure generated in the intake air piping 50 of the engine 10 is increased and it is not necessary to restart the engine 10 in order to obtain negative pressure upon stopping of the engine 10, the negative pressure can be obtained in the intake air piping 50 without generation of the starting sound of engine 10, deterioration of fuel consumption accompanying resumption of fuel supply in the engine 10 and emission of exhaust gas, etc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
