PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin motor which has an iron core capable of regulating the position without causing a slack in a coil wound on itself and not requiring space in the direction of rotation axis for a coil lead wire. SOLUTION: One end of the magnetic tooth 22 of an iron core 21 has projections 33 on both sides in circumferential direction, and a roughly U-shaped cut 24 is made in either of the projections 23 on both sides. For the cut 24, the angleθmade between the line 29 connecting the bottom 26 of the cut with the end 28 of an opening 27 and the center line 30 of the tooth 22 of the magnetic pole is 90°or under, and also it has such roughly U-shaped form that the bottom 26 of the cut 24 lies outside the outermost peripheral face in circumferential direction of the coil. Iron cores 21 having such form are stacked in plural numbers to form the iron core, whereby the lead wire of the coil neither abuts on the coil nor lies on or under the coil. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
