PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability by providing a method for canceling the state of vehicle speed limit when a cancel switch becomes impossible to operate due to a certain cause under the condition where the vehicle speed limit is set, in a vehicle speed limit device capable of arbitrarily setting up a maximum speed by a driver. SOLUTION: When the vehicle is in the state of vehicle speed limit, an equivalent state to that of the cancel switch being operated is set up by software of the control device by operating an accelerator with a specific operation pattern, and the cancel switch is doubled substantially.
