PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester-based conjugate fiber which has excellent firmness/stiffness feeling, stretch-back property, repulsive feeling and characteristics of natural fiber. SOLUTION: The polyester-based conjugate fiber comprises a side-by-side conjugate fiber composed of a high-viscosity polyester component (A) which is a polyethylene terephthalate having≥85 mol % ethylene terephthalate repeating unit and a low-viscosity polyester component (B) and is obtained by combining the polyester fiber having 12-35 dtex single fiber fineness with a natural fiber or subjecting the fibers to mixed weaving or interknitting.
