<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit document retrieval from print related information and to facilitate input operation for a print output instruction for achieving high- performance, in a system capable of providing the print output instruction for a management document, from a document management system side. <P>SOLUTION: The document management system 10 side is permitted to provide a print output instruction for an accumulated document of a document DB 13 through an instruction input part 11. A printer driver 20, that receives a print instruction generates a print job to a designated printer 30 and outputs the print related information on a print condition, an output printer, a print date and time and the like, that have been set at that time as a print instruction attribute file to the document management system 10. The file is combined with a relevant document (to make it as a section of the combined document) or is registered with the document DB as a single document, so as to enable retrieval by the print related information concerning the combined document, and the setting described in the file is made applicable to own document or other documents, when a next print instruction is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
