PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip-type magnetostatic wave filter, which is used for a mobile communication terminal in a microwave band and a semi-microwave band, and is capable of omitting a yoke and a permanent magnet, thereby enabling miniaturization of the terminal, and to provide a printed wiring board using the same. SOLUTION: The chip-type magnetostatic wave filter comprises a single- crystal substrate 2, a garnet film 11 having grown on the substrate 2 by crystal growth, antennas 12, 12 provided on the surface of either the substrate 2 or the film 11, and connection electrodes 14 provided on the same surface as that on which the antennas 12, 13 are provided.
