MOVING PICTURE RECORDING AND REPRODUCING APPARATUS AND RESERVATION SETTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized moving picture recording and reproducing apparatus capable of recording and reproducing a moving picture similarly to the case with a conventional mobile audio recording apparatus. SOLUTION: This moving picture recording and reproducing apparatus is provided with: a camera section 6 for imaging a moving picture; a compression/ expansion section 17 for companding video and audio signals; a card slot 29 to which a memory card 7 for recording compressed video and audio data can be inserted; and an LCD 12 and a speaker SP for reproducing and outputting the video and audio data recorded on the memory card 7. The recording and reproducing apparatus has a size being easily housed in a breast pocket of a suit and records/reproduces a moving picture, a still picture and sound. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
