PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a homogeneous image without generating display nonuniformity by the positions of scanning lines while performing resetting drive in a liquid crystal driving device for driving active matrix type liquid crystal display elements. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal driving device divides one field into the field of odd numbered scanning lines G<SB>1</SB>, G<SB>3</SB>,..., G<SB>2n-1</SB>and the field of even numbered scanning lines G<SB>2</SB>, G<SB>4</SB>,..., G<SB>2n</SB>by scanning entire scanning lines of liquid crystal display elements by interlaced scanning and writes display data sequentially for every scanning line after resetting collectively corresponding scanning lines in the individual fields.
