PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic buffer which reduces a flexibility fulcrum of a leaf valve in the radial direction by reducing the outer diameter dimension of the support, prevents damage on the leaf valve, and improves durability. SOLUTION: In this hydraulic buffer in which the leaf valve is provided at an port end of an oil passage and this leaf valve is opened/closed with the support provided on the outer or the inner end side as a fulcrum, a curved guide face is formed on the support so that the leaf valve is bent along the guide face.
