<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clock extracting and data reproducing circuit which can be made thin in thickness by adopting a magnetostatic filter as a bandpass filter of an optical communication apparatus, particularly an optical receiver and prevents the variation of center frequencies of the filter caused by an ambient temperature, and to provide the optical receiver using the circuit. <P>SOLUTION: This clock extracting and data reproducing circuit provided with a two-multiplication circuit for obtaining a signal including a basic clock component from an input signal and a bandpass filter for extracting the basic clock component from the signal obtained from the circuit and for reproducing at least a clock signal component from the extracted basic clock component, uses the magnetostatic filter as the bandpass filter and incorporates a bias magnetic field generation circuit for compensating the variation of the center frequencies of the magnetostatic filter caused by the ambient temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
