<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device capable of suppressing the number of DNS (domain name system) requests as much as possible, reducing network traffic, speeding up name solution processing, evading the influence of load and faults of a DNS server, and saving a packet price in a packet charging system. <P>SOLUTION: The terminal device is provided with a communication means 11, a control means 12, a non-volatile storage means 13, a name solution means 14, and a name solution information management means 15.
