PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric waveguide bandpass filter which is small and has low loss. SOLUTION: Conductive layers 2a, 2b are formed on both upper and lower surfaces of a dielectric substrate 1 and are connected by via hole rows 3a, 3b formed at intervals of 1/2 or lower than the wavelength within the substrate 1 in a resonant frequency, thereby forming dielectric resonators 5a, 5b, 5c of a first, second, third stages and input output waveguide structures 4a, 4b. The resonator 5a of the first stage is coupled electromagnetically to the resonator 5b of the second stage by the via hole rows 3b having an interval d<SB>12</SB>, and the resonator 5b of the second stage is coupled electromagnetically to the resonator 5c of the third stage by the via hole row 3b having intervals d<SB>23</SB>. The structures 4a, 4b are coupled electromagnetically to the filter by the via hole row 3b having an interval dI<SB>/</SB>O.
