PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment chassis device for outdoor installation that is constituted to prevent water from readily entering into an enclosure through a drain hole even when a road, etc., is covered with water, and to prevent generation of dew condensation in the enclosure by suppressing water leakage or infiltration of moist air from the outside as much as possible. SOLUTION: This electronic equipment chassis device is provided with a float valve 11 having a float 15 which opens a drain hole 8 provided for draining water produced in the enclosure 1 by dew condensation or water leakage, when the float 15 does not receive buoyancy from water having a possibility of flowing in the enclosure 1 from the outside, and stops the flowing of water in the enclosure 1 by blocking the drain hole 8 when the float 15 floats by receiving buoyancy from the water correspondingly to the drain hole 8.
