PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load capacity of a data bus, to reduce the power consumption of the data bus and at the same time, to enhance the data transfer rate by separating the data latch bus and the data transfer bus of a cascade- connected liquid crystal driving device. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal driving device, suppression of power consumption of the data bus and high-speed data transfer become possible by providing a selector for separating the data latch bus and the data transfer bus and making only a bus being in operation to operate and by keeping a bus being in a standby in an operation stopping state while fixing the bus to an L state or to an H state.
