Biodegradable plant pot is made from cut and folded cardboard panel with aeration slits and drainage holes

The plant pot is made from a flat panel of cardboard such as Froevi Light (RTM) or Mead Kraft (RTM), cut out, folded and glued to form a base and side walls (1, 2, 3). The base has holes in it for drainage, and the sides have slits (4) to aerate the soil and plant roots; the upper edges (7) can be doubled for reinforcement. The cardboard can be given a number of coats of a special varnish to help it resist external aggression. A plant label can be made from the same panel of material as the pot.
