PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial connector easy to assemble and miniaturized, its manufacturing method and an insertion jig used for the method. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the coaxial connector 10 has a process of inserting a coaxial connector main body 30 including a center conductor 31 and a grounded shield body 50 into an outer insulator 20 with an opening 24. Just before finish of the insertion process, a lid part 55 fitted to the grounded shield body 50 is arranged in opposition to two recesses 22C, 22C fitted to the outer insulator 20 for locally widening an opening width of the opening 24. After that, both end parts of the lid part 55 are pressed in a direction of the arrow mark A and deformed to form two stopper parts 56A, 56A going into the two recesses 22C, 22C.
