PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio relay system capable of improving functions and reliability. SOLUTION: The system comprises a plurality of relay channels between arbitrary two radio relay stations 1 for transmitting/receiving data, in the plurality of the relay channels, the system detects transmission quality of radio transmission paths composing of the relay channels constantly, periodically or immediately before data transmission and stores the plurality of relay channels in the order of levels of transmission quality. When transmitting the data, the system selects a relay channel with the best transmission quality to transmit the data, and sets priority to the data to be transmitted to transmit the data in the order of the priority by using relay channels with high transmission quality. Even when the transmission quality of the radio transmission paths are changed due to a change in a surrounding environment, the system can maintain periodicity of the data necessary to transmit periodically and shorten delay times of relay for data having high urgency.
