PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor for a power window which can materialize cost reduction by restraining the thickness of a gear housing from becoming thick, and making a manufacture facility small, with its parts No. one. SOLUTION: The motor 1 for a power window is equipped with a motor body 2 where an armature 6 is stored in a yoke housing 4, and a reduction gear 3 where worm gears 8 and 9 are stored in a gear housing 7 fixed to the yoke housing 4, and this opens and closes a door window for a vehicle by being attached to a vehicle's door and rotating the output shaft 9a of the reduction gear 3. A connector member 10, which is mounted on the gear housing 7 and is used for connecting an outer connector, is provided with a breath port 12g whose one side leads to the interior of the gear housing 7 and whose other side opens in a direction parallel with the output shaft 9a, and a waterproof sheet 15 is arranged at the end outside the breath port 12g.
