PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver with which wrong dealing of a received message can be surely prevented. SOLUTION: It is judged whether the address of a call signal received by an RF receiving section 12 via an antenna 11 is an address for an individual or an address for a group, by comparing the address with the address data of an ID code set in an ID-ROM 15. From this result of comparison, an expression pattern for the individual address or an expression pattern for the group address is read from an expression pattern table stored in a ROM 19 together with a basic pattern, and is displayed on a display section 2 while being switched.
