PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a water cooled cable in a pressure tank usable for a long period without hindrance like collapse or breaking caused by the high pressure or reduced pressure of the atmosphere in the pressure tank of an induction melting furnace or the like. SOLUTION: For an apparatus like an induction melting furnace having a pressure tank in which, water cooled cables 9a, 9b for power supply are installed, a pressure conforming mechanism 30, composed of a water passing chamber 33 and an air passing chamber 32 partitioned by a separation wall 31 made to move depending on the difference of the pressure, are arranged outside the pressure tank. The air passing chamber is made to communicate with the inside of the pressure tank and the water passing chamber is made to communicate with the inside of the water cooled cable.
