PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grip part structure of a recording tape cartridge which is made low-cost by making grip parts of various recording tape cartridges of different size common. SOLUTION: The grip part structure is for storing different kinds of recording tape cartridges 10, each equipped with a case containing a reel wound with a recording tape rotatably and a grip part 46 which is formed on the case and gripped by a gripping means of a library from both sides in the same library; and the recording tape cartridges are equalized in the height from the storage chamber bottom surface to the grip part 46 when the recording tape cartridges are stored in respective storage chambers of the library and the gap between grip parts on both the sides irrelevantly to the kinds of the recording tape cartridges.
